I have been researching the problems, which seem to relate to the age and size of our BB databases. I am working on a solution, which will happen in the near future (no exact date). Effectively, the existing BB will be "scrapped" and the new version of the software will be installed. Unfortunately, in order to clean up the database, that will mean deleting all members and all existing messages. We will look like a new BB.

What this will mean to BB members is:

1. Everyone will have to RE-REGISTER. We've had to do this before. It's a pain, but it only takes a few minutes.


2. The archives of old messages, including all messages now on the BB will be moved into a new, separate archive. The access and search procedures for the archive will be slightly different, but most of the old stuff will still be accessible.


3. There will be a new "look" to the screen. A couple of things will work a little differently, but basically it's just an upgrade of the software we use now.
