There is a yahoo group of folks who have had DBS surgery or are considering it. You can find us at http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/DBSforDystonia/ I had DBS surgery one year ago for adult onset generalized dystonia. My results have been mixed - very good relief, but the symptoms come back soon after each programming. Blessings
