Please encourage your friends to not compare themselves after their surgeries! Andi is right - it is likely that the PD patient will have more immediate relief, but there are TONS of variables and if they compare themselves they are putting themselves up for possible unnecessary frustrations and disappointments. Rather, they need to look at their own improvement from where they started. Best wishes,
