Hi Beverly,
Nothing so far. Just what my wife calls all-day morning sickness! I am nauseated and get dizzy frequently. But yesterday my wife had to call a neighbor to get me out of my transport chair. My muscles were so engaged that I was locked between the rails, and crushing the bones in my elbows. I don't remember much. Took over an hour after my wife forced 15mg of Valium down me before I could voluntarily move one muscle. I couldn't breathe and at one point my jaw stuck open and I could not move air at all. It was the scariest storm I have had yet. AND THE MOST PAINFUL! I had to wear my CPAP machine to breathe, and even then I was gasping so much that most of the air went in my nose and out my mouth. I know how important it is to breathe, to get oxygen to the brain, blood, and muscles, but I had no control. A few more minutes of this and my wife would have called 911. Things like this don't usually happen in warm weather, so I was shocked that it would happen on a 100-degree day. If my primary care physician does not give me something for the pain during times like this, I am going to another doctor! Tylenol, Aspirin, Anti-inflammatory drugs do nothing. In ANY dose. After one of these episodes I am in more pain than anyone should have to endure, even during childbirth! And the doctors won't give me anything!OKAY, a sour note to an otherwise positive post. Sorry.
But I was very afraid, and I ain't afraid to admit it.
