Edit
Hi Tracy,
I was reading all the postings on the bulletin board And found this on that you posted in May. I live in Rio Rancho A little town out side of Albuquerque. I have Cervical Dystonia I was Diagnosed last July of 2007 I had the symtoms for about a year before I was diagnosed. First off I had just problems at night when I would lay down to sleep, and my neck muscles would spasm. I was also going through alot of depression and anxiety due to a female problem. I developed tremors and my GYN noticed them and said I needed to go see a Neurologist.
I went through alot of trouble getting help finding one. Finally My family member referred me to one. I went to him and started on Botox and Clonazapam. I had trouble with Botox wasnt helping. He wasn't injecting it in the right muscles. Later, My Primary care Dr had done a referral for me to go to UNM to see a Neuro there. I didn't know she did until I got a call one day from them saying I had a appt there.
Anyway, to make a long story short I found a Neuro there who has a Parkinson's/Movement Disorders clinic. Who is a great DR.
I switched my care over to her and saw her a week ago and she did my botox different and prescribed me "Sinement" I've only been on it about a month. It does make my stomach nausated so I need to eat something with it. I'm getting used to it. My head pulls to the left causing severe pain all over the left side of my head neck and shoulders. She gave me pain meds to try.
If you want you can e-mail me at home, good luck I hope you find what your looking for.
