Hi everybody
My three and a half year old is currently being trilled on Artane. He is only 3 weeks into the trial (has had one week on full dose - 3mg/day) and has started to have his symptoms worsen again. The doctor has said that he may have built up a tolerance already and that we need to up the dose - this seems really quick. How quickly have others noticed that they have built up a tolerance to Artane? and how often do those of you taking Artane have to have your doses altered? Does this mean that our son will only have the benefit of Artane for a short time? I am new to this and am confused! If he is going to build up a tolerance so quickly it seems crazy to be giving him drugs at such a young age at all??? Would be grateful for any advice.... |
