Hello db, I am receiving my SSD now. It began about 18months ago but it took three years and an attorney to receive it. My innitial diag was fibro though I new there was something else going on. They had there own DR. on the line that was trying to tell the judge fibro was not disabling, that in itself was rather frustrating because I to had to leave my school district job working with disabled children which I LOVED so much and acouple of years prior I was stll hiking, cycleing and walking 4-6 miles per day with cronic pain syndrome . I guess the DR figured I just decided one day to stop doing everything I LOVED to do so I could draw there disability (HA, YEA RIGHT) and It is money I paid in by all rights. I also pay for medicare which helps alot. I have a great support system here at home and of course of all Jesus Christ. I wish you the best of luck. I am only 38 so I was just wondering if there were others with dystonia that couldnt work because of it. Thankyou for your reply and I would Love to know if you receive your SSD and if you dont mind me asking what was there reason for denial? God Bless PS
