I have had OMD for 4 years, treated with botox injections. My MD has put me on Lexapro for anxiety attacks, and mood swings, 10 mg daily. I am scared to death to take it because I am afraid it will increase the movements in my jaw & tongue and I could end up worse. I suspect Prosax as the culprit for the dystonia as I took it for 4 or 5 years prior to on-set of OMD. I had been off of it (did taper off, by starting with 1 every other day, then I just stopped on own) I later found out it could cause OMD. Current doctor first ordered Zolof but it takes 4 wks to get in system so didn't start taking it. Please let me know if anyone has taken Lexapro and the results it has had.
