Edit
When one diagnosis comes to a person/family others tend to think that the person/family begins to see the same diagnosis in everyone around them, which can lead to them discounting legitimate signs of conditions out of hand.

I was told I had TMJ. It turned out to be just another symptom of Dystonia. (I have early onset Generalized and have never tried levadopa.)

Yes, remember these doctors are only people. The ones you are seeing may be at the 'forefront' of Dystonia research, but there are sooo many doctors who are labeled as such and turn out to be absolute donderheads. It doesn't sound like that is the case with your daughter's docs, but the message remains.

Continue to use your intelligence in making treatement choices for you and your family. Science is an equal opportunity field.
