I am from Australia too! I live in Melbourne. I have OMD and Blepharospasm. I developed it late 2006 and in that time my symptoms have varied and moved around enormously. The first 12 mths i had a headache everyday,I now get them randomly, but still quite frequently. I also suffer bouts of face pain, neck pain and shoulder pain. Today my face, all around my jaw is aching, mainly on the right side. I can never predict when the pain will present. I have tongue thrusting when I speak and eat. Chewing and speaking is a nightmare for me. This has got worse over the last 18 months. I have botox every 10 weeks, this helps a bit and I take painkillers constantly, but no other medication. I think your apointment with an MDS is an excellent thing for you to do.
