Edit
Hendy,

Psychological relief is an enormous factor, I agree. I have used and actually still use alternative techniques (pickstyle, thumb-index picking) but I had to admit it was just an escape route. I could also say I was wasting my own time focusing on other techniques hoping recovery would happen as time passes - partially true but not quite as I kept on trying. I'm not saying anything negative here, please don't misunderstand me, just give it a thought and be honest with yourself and yourself only.

The good news is: you don't have to wait for medication because FD is not a disease, only a condition, a habit. This means the solution is right here, right now. All you have to know is what and how to practice and be patient.

Keep positive, cheers!
Greg
