I play flamenco guitar, etc., and have RH i,m,a problems. I have noticed the same pattern when I awaken, particularly in the morning. I totally agree with the advice offered by Noelb! To me, it has been critical to immediately stop the particular RH arpeggio, etc., I am practicing, when i,m, or a begins to tighten. I just switch to another technique and proceed. Hope this helps.
