Edit
Fighting and avoiding tension in this case means the same: your mind is focused on the idea of "tension" rather then letting the natural motion happen - "freedom". The trick is - first it will not necessarily happen on a physical level but you will feel a difference inside. Once you learn how to just decide to play without tension and let your body do the rest AND not interfere (key point) it begins to unfold.

Naturally, this doesn't mean though that you keep playing with fingers locked. Rather you are aware of what's going on but focus on keeping a clear mind that doesn't want to interfere and judge the process.

Dystonia is just the smyptom of what is going on inside. If you clear things up in your mind the body will follow.

Btw, it's "Fabra", without "s". :D
