So fighting and avoiding tension are the same, and both unhelpful, but "learning how to decide to play without tension.. and not interfere" is something entirely different and better?I can't help think that this is all just semantics. Surely what Farias and Fabra promote as a methodology is essentially the same idea when you come down to it? It all comes down to allowing a natural movement to take place below the FD threshold and before the tension kicks in, and then reinforcing that. If Fabra's psychological/counselling approach helps achieve the necessary state of relaxation and control, all well and good.
