Dear all.Let me please introduce myself in this forum as one more of patients of
torsion dystonia who has been strongly conditioned by this disorder.
I remember me as a child with many dreams, one of them playing classical
guitar. In fact I studied music for some years, and guitar for two.
Unfortunately I had to leave because dystonia started to spread along my
body, from feet to arms and hands. But my love for life and music didn't
end at that moment.
30 years later, maybe more, I watch my life with torsion dystonia from a
very more positive point of view, and that's what I try to tell other
people with so a long experience as mine to be told.
2008 Feb 6th. I published a webpage to share and help those people who want
to know my own experience from a very practical way. There I talk about
self-acceptance, pain, tricks, etc. and also there comes a link to a blog
everyone can use to tell (even anonymously) what wanting. It was firstly
made into Spanish but so very recently, since April 9th, it can be read in
English.
