Hi Paul,I haven't checked this forum for weeks and just found your message. Thanks for asking. I had botox in NOvember which was a disaster. I later found out that I received a big overdose.
I spent 6 days in Bethesda MD at National Institute of Health. Have tried botox again. This time no terrible side effects but after 3 weeks it has not helped my problems so I'm not sure if it is in the wrong muscles. Time will tell. I am planning to go back and try again in July.
I am hoping to find a rolfer in my area. At the moment I have started deep tissue massage and it seems to help the cramps in my arm a little but I am in terrible pain most of the time with cramps in my arm...mostly from writing with a pen. It also hurt to play the piano.
I am just trying to rest my hand/arm as much as possible and hoping that someday I can find someone close who can give me ideas about retraining. The whole situation is very discouraging.
The people at NIH were amazing and wonderful to me. That part was very encouraging because at least they understood the problem and validated it. I have nothing but POSTITIVE things to say about that place. I'm not ready to give up yet .
Thanks again,
Julie
