Linnea, He is available for video lessons via Msn Messenger too. Joaquín Fabra (NOT the same as the other FD expert Joaquín Farias!) is a trombonist himself with a deep understanding of focal dystonia; its causes, the psychological and physical background. He is also a great lecturer and a very helpful and wise man. I had positive results after the first class already and the psychological burden was gone very soon. Even though my hand is not perfect as I wrote in my previous post I don't feel dystonic or plagued anymore. I could be 100% back but I deliberately chose to go my own way and discovered an even better, natural and comfortable fingering technique for myself and I practice 3-4 hours a day. I spend some time on recovery too but it's not the main issue of my life anymore. Keep positive and don't believe anyone who sais FD is not curable. It is, absolutely.
