Wen, It's interesting to read this because my teacher (Joaquín Fabra) was telling me the same: you have to do it and not think about how to do it. So first you basically keep playing with awkward dystonic movements but you listen to the result only, don't judge just do it. Then slowly if you don't interfere your hand (mouth, etc) will find its way back to normal. IF you think about HOW to do it and WHAT to do you fail. Dystonia = overcontrol. Greg |
