Edit
Hello. My name is Shelly Holley and I was diagnosed with Dystonia this past year. We have decided to put on a Dystonia Awareness Jamboree at our property in Cushing Okla in Sept in coordinance with Dystonia Awareness Month. Awareness is a huge issue in getting a correct initial diagnosis and in getting the funds neccessary to continue with medical research and finding a cure for this disease. The Jamboree will consist of live music, childrens activity booths, information booths for people who suffer from dystonia and their friends and families, a sign language booth that will teach mini classes on sign language and have hand out sheets of sign language for peopleto take home. This booth is to help people who's speech is badly effected by dystonia and to show other options for communication when speech is an issue. There are many other plans in the works for this Jamboree. We are very determined to get the information out there to the public and to people who feel like they are suffering alone. If you would be interested in participating/attending the Dystonia Awareness Jamboree in September, please contact us and feel free to pass this invitation on to others! Thank you, Shelly Holley
