| RH thumb problem in pianist |  | ||

Hi, I'm a pianist with what appears to be FD in the thumb. Have yet to encounter anybody with this particular form of FD - cramping in thumb during simple scales/passages. Anyone with similar experience? I also have 'double-jointed' elbows which may or may not be a factor (inner elbow gets sore if I work too hard on trying to strengthen the thumb-forefinger structure).
