I have been informed by our web host (I was not given a choice) that our site will be moved to a new server on the evening/night of November 05. In the best case scenario, a few posts made during the transition will be lost. The worst case scenario is another story. About this time last year, the web host informed me it was moving the Spasmodic Dysphonia Bulletin Board site to a new (and better, they said) server. They assured me that the transfer would be seamless. The reality was that the move trashed the bulletin board and I was unable even to navigate adequately behind the scenes to fix the problems on the new server. After weeks of fruitless correspondence with "Technical Support", I was forced to find a new web host and recreate the bulletin board. Bottom line, if the BB goes off-line tomorrow night, it could be off for a prolonged time. Please do not bombard me, the moderators and DMRF with e-mail complaints - it will just delay getting things running again.Bob Campbell
