Hello
I haven't posted for a long time . I was diagnosed with FHD almost 2 1/2 years ago at the London Hand Clinic. I am a fulltime musician and play woodwinds/sax. I am happy to write that my condition is much improved and although not 100% back to normal I returned to playing about 5 months ago. My improvement has felt like crawling 10 miles a 1/4 inch a week with many many set backs along the way. I tried most of the suggestions but basically the slow down method literally playing extremely slowly just doing what I could has been my way forward. I also received help from my local NHS physio clinic with exercises. I wish everyone who is suffering well
and please do not give up hope. The body is an amazing thing.
