Greetings to all. I'm a 54 year old professional drummer with focal hand dystonia. My symptoms beagan just over two years ago and I was finally diagnosed earlier this month. I read that statistically, the average time it takes for a dystonia sufferer to get a diagnosis is five years, so I'm grateful to have beaten the average by five years. I have an appointment pending with a neurologist so I'm just starting the treatment phase of my journey. I'm here to learn, share and support.
