I know exactly how it feels to be back to playing; music just flows 0-24. I developed my thumb-index picking technique on my bass (as opposed to the usual index-middle) and it works so well I almost got better at it in 2 years than using the classic technique that I did for cca 15. Some things just got lightning fast pretty easily so I literally couldn't sleep but practiced countless hours for months until my back would hurt so much I had to stop. Not too wise but how could you convince a caged bird not to fly once you open the door? ;)I'm into developing a 4 finger technique but faced Fd again (kicks in when the index-middle pattern comes) so I'm back to the recovery exercises that I had missed for quite some time. I'm cool-headed now that I know it's not a vital issue anymore and this attitude actually helps a lot.
Regarding your blog or forum: I think you will find time for either once you get used to freedom and calm down. Then you will feel it's time to sum up and post your ideas. Don't worry about it too much. ;)
