Edit
Hi- I'd like to know if anyone on this board can tell me what guidelines are used to determine if someone with S.T. ( I have laterocollis)is a good candidate for either D.B.S. or selective denervation?

I have suffered ( yes that is the word) from S.T. (focal dystonia)for 7 years. I am 58 years old and do not have arthritis in the upper spine -that is symptomatic at least) and have been stable symptomatically for years. I have developed immunity to types A and B Botox. I have received many forms of treatment; ranging from several oral medications, to Botox(s) physical therapy, as well as acupuncture, chiropractry , various massage techniques, and god knows what else ..
so that's my question ...what are the criteria for DBS and / or slective denervation ?? thanks in advance !!
