Edit
Fight or flight response, it seems.

Recently I discovered a state of equilibrium while working with my previously dystonic finger. In my case, there is still the remnant of a nerve damage suffered through injury, and certain movements are still slower in these fingers than other.

What I noticed now is how many levels of awareness there are below the surface of a finger movement. In order to reach down to the lower level of movement I have to really remove 'myself' from the 'will' of a movement in order to actually become one and in the moment with the seed of the movement.

It didn't take too long before my finger gained speed in response. It is interesting to discover new layers of awareness.
