I'm trying to build up some steam to approach DMRF to shift gears and take the lead in addressing retraining issues for musician's FD. There are too many success stories now.
If an institute outside of Barcelona says 40% of 200 musicians are back to concert form, as someone mentioned in another thread, there should be a way to research and verify what that really means. If a dozen people here can demonstrate recovery, even if it's hard or takes a long time or not 100%, then it becomes incorrect to declare it as completely incurable.
There have been some references to research projects in the Newsletter, but I haven't seen results posted.
Shouldn't it simply start with a seminal paper entitled "Validating reports of recovery from musician's focal dystonia" ?
