Musicians with Dystonia Bulletin Board

I haven't posted for ages - very little time at the moment. However I would just like to say that my progress has been huge over the last 6 months (had FD for 5 years now). The main reason, I think, for this is getting the hang of ignoring how I'm playing but concentrating on the music (so related to the "distraction" thread a little while ago (can't find this thread now!)). Will post again when I've got more time but, although I can't say I'm cured or nearly cured the progress is hugely positive (e.g. playing 1 note per second at Christmas, now sometimes up to 4/sec - easy, effortless and hand feeling "light"). Usually I only practice for half an hour each day now
