Search the Archives of the Dystonia Bulletin Boards
- If you wish to search the current recent posts on the Dystonia Bulletin Board, or the Musicians with Dystonia Bulletin Board, use the "Find" link in the top navigation bar of the appropriate board.
- The above search functions will search either the archives of one of the dystonia bulletin boards or both of them
- In order to search the archives of the Spasmodic Dysphonia Bulletin Board or the Blepharospasm Bulletin board, you will have to visit those sites
- In the archives, all posts in a thread have been combined into a single file (page). Unlike the current posts where you have to click on another link to see a followup post, in the archives, you just have to scroll down. Because some threads contain many posts, you may wish to use "(highlight matches)" to locate specific references to your keyword(s). The "(highlight matches)" option does not work in all instances. In that case, use your browser's "Edit > Find in (on) This Page" option
- Unfortunately, during the period from March until December 2003, the archive function did not always save all followup posts in a thread.
- The search function will not search for phrases but one can enter multiple words separated by a single space. Do not include quotes in the search box.
- As well as listing words which you want to occur in retrieved documents, you can also restrict your search by listing words which will cause documents to be omitted. For example, +blepharospasm -botox would retrieve threads which contained the word blepharospasm but not the word botox.
- Some of the items in the hit list will contain a string of gibberish. I do not know what causes this but it does not appear to affect functionality.
